I saw my future today; and predictably didnt like any bit of it...Was part of a visit to the company that I'm going to work for and the hushed voices,formalities,permissions,techie mumbo-jumbo made it all an ordeal....
I'm a mechanical engineer by birth !! I understand things that I can see,That are visible and in the flesh !! Not some abstract stuff that I can't even imagine,let alone see !!
I wonder how I'm going to handle the job:something similar to what I did b4 I came here and exactly the reason I quit...
Somebody a long time ago said to me and she was right even then when she said:"Your choices are based on compromises.Bcos u dont want to do something a lot more, u pick whatever is less painful and therefore never do what you like !!"
I guess she was rite(as usual,I mite add !!),but isnt it the case always ?? U do something to avoid doing something worse..It's not a perfect world,is it ??
Good for me though..Strengthened my resolve to do something on my own even if it takes me a 100 failures to do what I like doing !!
A company tagline that I saw today is perfectly relevant here...
