Gill te guitar...

Do u ever wonder..."wow ! I bought that cassette/CD a long time back..heard a coupla songs that i had already heard before and liked..and never did bother to listen to the rest of them.."

I did..yesterday...and the item in question was Rabbi Shergill's self-titled album...so..i heard it from end to end and..."Gill te guitar" is fantastic !!!
yeah..."bulla ki jaana" and "tere bin" are great...but "gill te guitar" will now be my all-time rabbi super-track !!

My God ! he is good ! really good !! he can transport you to a different era altogether...when was that ? just over a year back ?? seems such a long time ago...when our gang of friends would sit and do pretty much what the gang of friends do in the song..

love the meaning in the track...especially the lines..

"jaddon na kujh agge disse /*When you can't see what's ahead */
tahiyon bandaa vekhe picche" /*you turn to see what's gone by*/

So..in conclusion...a few words...

Rabbiji-meri taraf se ...dammit !! and thanks !!

"Dammit!!" bcos u reminded me of those awesome days...
"Thanks !! "bcos u reminded me of those awesome days...

The Fifty coolest websites of the year..based on a survey by TIME magazine...here..some are really "cool"..some not quite..some others are downright stupid..

PS:I am through with my first project and am back at my employer's location...not a fun experience..far from it...anyways...wrote the usual"thank-you-and-do-stay-in-touch" mail..and got these lines in a reply from a really cool guy...especially funny bcos hes a DBA-Database administrator !!!
