Jobless ?? Na...very busy...

I am not too happy about my current state of being between projects(the honey-moon period so to say a.k.a "the bench")..but i am not jobless..i make it a point to browse "n" number of newspapers, articles, columns, trivia, quizzing sites, mailing people and what not to keep myself occupied...and work a little in between on creating assets, proposals, quality conformance documents, project guidelines and other assorted balderdash...but once in a while i stumble across a site which is unique,interesting,out-of-the-ordinary..."different"..period..

i stumbled across 2 today..
  1. Flogging the simian and
  2. Intentblog

FTS is a site run by what looks like a single person which in his/her own words does this..

"I believe that the best electorate is an informed electorate, and that must include a knowledge of what's going on around the world. I read approximately 50 newspapers every morning and report what I find there, with an emphasis on foreign or international events. You will however not find information about Iraq or the Israeli/Palestinian situation, the first because it is amply reported elsewhere and the latter because it is too contentious. "

hmm...interesting na...and the stuff is good ! a world perspective, varied views and opinions, the voice of youth, altogether refreshing...

Intentblog on the other hand is :

"The goal of http://www.intentblog.com/ is to present original voices on and from Asia and India to inspire, stimulate and engage a dialogue about new paradigms of creativity, communication, and fulfillment. World renowned author, Deepak Chopra MD, and internationally acclaimed film maker, Shekhar Kapur, are the founders of INTENT. "

motherlode stuff again !! the intellegentsia of india contributes with stories, anecdotes and views..and hopefully someday...with action...not just mere words...

this one was good and made sense...

PS:both have been blogrolled on the left..

U Know for sure.. Part 2..."new,improved and 20% free !!"

U know for sure that u need to go in for a wardrobe change when ...

Your niece (who's just 5 and in her 1st year at convent school and speaks chaste english already) comes up to you in the middle of a family get-together and says aloud...

"Riteshmam, Wasn't that the same shirt you wore for my 3rd happy birthday ?? It's been 2 years since i saw you and you are still wearing the same shirt....I thought people said you have changed..."

I was eating traditional konkani grub after a coupla years and relishing it...I just lost my appetite....

;-)

PS:
1. YEAH !! before u guys ask, it was the same shirt ! and...
2. Dare anyone call me "riteshmam" !!
3. "New,improved and 20% free" was just for kicks..
