Dark and difficult times lie ahead..

Difficult times ahead..dark days..storm brewing in the bay..rains forecast...sun disappearing..the calm before the storm..people,houses,cattle,dreams..how many will be slaughtered this time ?

PS: Just a rant based on my current mood and a discussion i had with an old friend..know it's a filler post..have been drafting another one for a long time now..will come up with it soon..

Update: the storm has stagnated and has not moved since yesterday..Met department isnt sure whats going to happen..(!!)

My delivery is expected in a coupla days..the books, i mean-talk to virdi regarding the kid..last heard,it was 8 months away..you never know with surds tho..

Update 2: Through with the storm..i think..stopped raining and sunny again..admin better prepared, so not as bad as the first time..i believe...

Worst part..something i read a few days ago..aid organizations are now pleading "donor-fatigue"..since there have been so many "natural" disasters this year...Tsunami in india,katrina, her sisters, earthquake in kashmir...funda is-There's only so much budgeted aid every year by world-wide organizations..and they are running dry..and when i mean year, i mean financial year...so, till april, they are almost zilch..and the winter has started in kashmir..the worst months are yet to come..
Tamilnadu can forget about international aid..it would be a god-send if the central government is able to recalculate and re-organize the expected aid amount in time...
