Billy Joel-"We didnt start the fire"..My first encounter with "western music"...Mustave been in class 8 or so when my eldest cousin lets his room open for a short while and we bunch of nosy cousins get in and play the "foreign" music..This at a time when MTV was unheard of and DD was the ultimate...
Remember trying to figure out the words that the american was singing...Got a few like churchill, bridge on the river kwai, marlyn monroe,etc...
Just names/events of the late 60's/early 70's but signified the tide of the times in that fantastic era...So many wild things happened then...no other decade even remotely comes close to this..
Personally,I've improved ...But will rank as "encounters of the extra-ordinary kind",atleast for me..
