Have you ever wondered that..

When a guy has a nick with a number involved,it's usually the birth year...
and when a girl has a nick with a number involved,it's usually the birth date..

To test out a theory , I just tried to signup for a new login at yahoo! and...
when you try to sign up and the login is already taken,
if you are a male, you will be prompted with a XYZ78 (birthyear) as one amongst the choices...
and if you are female, you will be prompted with a XYZ06 ( birthdate) as one amongst the choices !

WOWWW !! Now thats what i call use of gender psycho. in biz/tech !

My question tho is...who's it that decides/controls ??
Is it the user who just wants to complete the signup process asap and is now stuck with this nick..for life !
or the mail service provider..who is fashioning an entire generation with similar nicks !
