Shubham and Virdee get it deadrite with regard to the feelings we had and went thru when we were at iitm...Most importantly,the convocation that happened last week and the informal meet with our juniors,seniors,profs etc probably was the best closure we could have ever got....It's not the best feeling in the world to be separated from ur comfort zone and the ppl around u but i guess it had to happen...One can only hope that i have half as much fun as I had those 2 wonderful years at iitm...Thank you all for making something that I decided to do on a whim into the best thing to have ever happened to me in my life so far...

30th July,Friday was the first and probably the last convocation that I will ever attend...IIT Madras' 41st convocation meant that I made the journey from trivandrum to chennai for a coupla days inspite of ill-health..It's probably the best thing that I have done ever since coming here...Meeting old friends.catching up with them and chatting with the Profs made me feel like I was back at home...
Went to my room,smoked with friends(albeit in tarams,not in vels)walked the distance from GC to gate after a long time and felt so much better...Saturday was devoted to lazing around and reminiscing some old memories...Definitely the 2 best years of my life so far...
Had to leave beloved chennai at around 6 p.m to make it back to trivandrum and a boring existence...Felt very down emotionally at having to probably lose out on all the comforts of familiarity that i enjoy in chennai to start life afresh in the seething metropolis of Mumbai....
