Tomorrow is a saturday ....Yayyyyyyyyyyyy....No commuting or gazing at the box for the next 2 days....Just sleep and eat..Come to think of it,just like most days except the above ;-}
Planning to do a lot of things during those 2 days...Lets see if any of them work out..............See ya bye...(Just a thot,I havent had a single hit so far,Who the f*** am I saying bye to ??? )

Why are we,the way we are ???

Well, I have a theory that I beleive in abt this and that is ....We are as good as we think we are..confused?? Well lemme make it lucid...We r able to enjoy life's material comforts and bascially be contented(atleast materially if not spiritually???).. Our middle class upbringing instilled in us a sense of hunger-a hunger for success..We use our abilities to our advantage and even though we r living a lifstyle of high-fliers now,we will still go to the neighbourhood temple and pray to God for his blessings..We will take a day's leave to attend a marriage/ceremony but will not take it for much-needed rest from our stressful lives...What a contradiction(or is it??)Just to make my point,lets compare this with a guy who is whiling away his time spending his rich-dad's money on his girlfiriend or whatever else;beleive me, I'm not saying it's wrong,i wuld have probably done the same in his position;What I'm trying to say is that his upbringing and values which he imbibed in his chilhood dictate how he acts today....Is this not a clear example of why we r the way we r ??? WE will spend money like water but will still do it with purpose (for ex on education)cos that's the way we r....We will have a girlfriend but will still think twice abt kissing (or in some cases something more ;-)) her in public...In fact I beleive in this theory so much that When I Do dream of becoming stinking rich,powerful and famous, I am thankful that I was born in middle-class home and not a rich one cos I have a sense of purpose and a will to be a "somebody"...Think abt this and I'm sure u will under stand what I 'm talking abt...

Was just wondering abt the current scenario in the South Asian region and the options India has- A devastating Nuke Holocaust out of which India will come largely unscathed but sufficiently disabled for life and Pakistan,well,non-existent; or a diplomatic war with no ed or solution in sight...
.though,I feel that a war with pakistan shld be a sustained continuous and bledding effort and not one which will eliminate it..That would push it to the edge and force them to excercise the nuke option..Eliminating the PoK terror camps thru incisive,covert and small grps of armed commandoes with limited air support will probably be the order of the day..Maybe the RAW and IB can consider arming the militant elements in the Political parties which are anyway disillusioned with the present dictatorship of Musharaff...another option wuld be to arm and support the Mohajirs(they are a discriminated lot in Pak),the Shias(they have an idealogical battle against the dominant Sunnis),the Sindhis and the bhaluchs(they feel the vast resources in their region feed the Punjabis but development is hindered in their regions)...Wonder why they havent done so yet. ??? Anyways,the only issue wuld be if Musharaff wants to be a hero and pushes the switch b4 a credible threat appears...What say ??

Hi there,
This is ritz frm the beautiful country of India.I stay in Bangalore,a city in the south of this amazingly diverse country.It is viewed as the technology hub and one of the fastest growing cities in the world.I have completed my undergraduate study at a prestigious college in bangalore and will be joing up at the Indian Institute of Technology,Madras(IITM) my MBA in a few months time.The IIT is considered to be a tough school to get into but beleive me,it was a cakewalk for me !!! I dont mean to say that I'm brilliant or any such thing (Of course many others do say that abt me ;-- ) ) ..It's just that I did a coupla things right and used the oppurtunties and luck that came my way, to my advantage........
I read abt blogspot/blogger on a popular business magazine and was immediately filled witha sense of deja vu,coz I was looking for such a medium all my life !! ;BTW,I spend most of my time surfing the net since my employer HLL(Hindustan Lever Ltd- A subsidiary of Unilever Plc.) wanted me to continue for some more time b4 I quit,even though I had nothing other than a little routine maintainence work left to do....
Well, enough abt me and my humble achievements( I plan to rule the world one day,though)..This weblog, if I continue to have enough time to post after joining IITM, wll focus on the latest happenings in the world with an indian perspective...My long hours of surfing will also ensure that some gr8 utils,websites,downloads,articles,etc will be mentioned with a url to it...
BTW, I'm crazy abt the path-breaking action-flick- The Matrx;I feel, no other movie comes even close to it,be it action,cinematography,stunts,animation,anything...The best part was that It brought to life one of my long-held beleifs that the world is nothing but a computerized animation program....Am I a weirdo or what ???No, Really I mean it,it was fresh way at looking at the world and offered so many explanations to the world's hum-drum existence.......I'm looking out for the sequel-The Matrix-Reloaded which will be released in March 2003(U.S) ...
